Our Corks & Forks education program was designed to demonstrate the beautiful craft of food and wine pairing. Classes are taught by our own world class sommelier, Ralph Hersom and our talented personal chef, Kim Hersom.
Not only are our classes educational and informative more importantly they are fun! Ralph and Kim can be described as the Ricky and Lucy of the wine and culinary world and are sure to keep you entertained throughout class.

Around the World of Pinot Noir
In this class we sample different Pinot Noirs from around the world showcasing the stylistic differences that are found from different terroirs where this very special grape is grown. We will also be showcasing, with Chef Kim’s help, just how well this red pairs with various foods!

Please join us as we lead you through a fabulous tasting of Bordeaux that won’t break the bank! As always we will be pouring different wines from around the region paired up with some small bites from Chef Kim’s Kitchen.

Wines of Tuscany
What a lineup we have in store for you! Chianti, Rosso di Montalcino and the mighty Brunello di Montalcino to name but a few. Five fabulous wines from Tuscany paired with Chef Kim’s wonderful food make this an evening not to be missed!

Sommelier Says
In this class you will learn the “ins and outs” of wine service so you too can be a pro at home; when and why to decant, proper serving temperatures for whites and reds, correct glassware, the regions of the world where bargains are found, food pairing tips and other sommelier tricks. Of course while you are learning you will be sipping 5 fabulous wines paired up with some delicious bites by Chef Kim

Spanish Wines & Tapas
This class will be a wonderful opportunity to take a wine tasting trip around Spain without having to jump on a plane as we sample 5 excellent Spanish wines! Chef Kim will be presenting some fabulous tapas to enjoy during this class as well so please come and join us and remember “Paring is Caring”!
